Interesting discovery about the hidden "For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son" message on the Ajira website... I'm kind of digging the irony when you substitute only a few words, and get "For THE OTHERS' LEADER so loved the ISLAND, that he gave his one and only FATHER..." Coincidence? Time will tell. Funny, kind of links into what I said before about the leaders having to kill there fathers. I have another post around her somewhere going more into father issues and leaders , if i can find it. but this is one of them here l v I love Ben. to me, He seems to ALWAYS know what to do and how to do it. (except for now ) But I'm confident he will get the job done. He might not seem like he is good but i think all the bad things he does is for a greater good. I totally agree. All he wanted from the Others, growing up, was to be accepted. Locke came into the picture and Ben was miffed, there was a scuffle for power, but Ben is the one who turned the donkey wheel. This way, he could feel like he gave the island to Locke, entrusted it to him. Ben told the O6 they had to go back to save everyone; Richard told Locke the same thing. While I don't always believe everything Ben says, I'm pretty confident in Richard, so for me, he validates Ben's statement to the O6. Plus, if I was ever in trouble, I'd want Ben on my side. Manipulative and selfish though he may be, he's the man with answers and a plan. Exactly!! Well said. and I agree! I think Ben is out to do the right thing for the island no matter what lengths he has to go to. That is the common characteristic in our island leaders, new or old. Being able to kill your father for the island shows that you'd do what is needed to do for a greater good. and I agree, I always said that I would want to have Ben on my side. I looooove his calmness coolness and collectedness!

I looooove his calmness coolness and collectedness! Well, Locke sure had/has father issues. Now, didn't his mom tell him once that he was conceived by immaculate conception? The guy that he really found that ultimately paralyzed him, was he his confirmed biological father? I guess, since he gave him a kidney, he must have been. Just trying to link together the father issues, the giving of his life to save others, the resurrection van...

lol the resurrection van lol I know, it's hard to keep all the facts straight. I forget so much after a while and I can only re watch the old episodes so many times. I did think that cooper was his biological father. I don't really have any reason why except just because of the way the story went.

The whole kidney thing shows compatability which would suggest a family link, but it doesn't prove it.. He could have just as well done his research for a compatable donor before the con job.

I think the O6 are back. I think it was their ARIJA air flight that gets them back.
I'll bet it's flight 316 too.
wow, great theory!

wow, great theory! I am starting to stray away from the idea of them taken flight 316. If you look at the titles to episodes 6 and 7 they are 316 and The life and death of Jeremy Bentham. John 3:16 is, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
It would make sense that after Locke is "brought back to life", the next episode tells of his back story off the island. They did the same thing with the tail section survivors and Juliet being left behind story.

The others had the Flame to monitor and communicate with the outside world. Maybe Juliet went their to find ways to get back home. Patchy and Juliet were friends with benefits? I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Well Lil, there is one question for your research! How did Juliet know about Ajira? Did we ever figure that out? or get an answer? I don't remember it if we did. (hey , it's been a while since I thought about this stuff lol )
