Painting in Widmore's office...
« on: January 30, 2009, 01:00:37 AM »
Did anyone else notice the painting in Widmore's office when Desmond barges in on him?  I hope I'm not posting something everyone else has noticed - but i quickly browsed the subject of the other threads on the forum for this episode and didn't see anything about it.  Its there on the right side during the wide shot when Widmore, Desmond, Widmore's secretary and the other man (security for Widmore?) are all in view.   It seems to say "NAMASTE" across the top, shows part of an old man's face (Widmore, I think) looking down as a seemingly giant polar bear attacks a villiage (Otherville?). In the top right of the painting there's the fact of someone else - its sort of distorted, almost in flames....
