If Hurley told you a brief synopsis of the crazy events that happened after the plane crash, would you believe him? His mother was keen on taking his word for it. Does she genuinely believe him or was she just being a nice mom?
And did you have any thoughts on Hurley's explanation or finally coming clean?
All comments and healthy discussion welcome... Thank goodness the show is back again!

i wouldn't believe him. he's already been committed, twice.
i'm still holding out on if his mom really believe him, or if she was just being nice mom!

I think a mom knows when her baby is lying. I think she was genuine. I loved that scene!
I mean, I wouldn't believe him, but I think his mom did.

I said that I would believe him, but I would need more detail. Like, if he told me exactly what he told his mom, and then didn't expand on it at all, then hells no I wouldn't believe him, that sounded nuts. But once he said to me, "Well the people that were atacking us, we called them the Others because they weren't part of the group that survived the plane crash. There was our group, and then there was the Other group." I would believe him. As for his mom, I think she really believed him. I mean he started crying man.

I picked I dunno. Because he doesn't tell it in a calm way that's easy to follow. He doesn't make sense.

I might believe him if he took me to the island. Of course I just want to get on the island, so, I'm not sure I voted objectively.

Aw, come on... it would be such a great adventure! And of course there would be scotch. You'd just have to bring it with you.
