That's why you make sure only people you accept can follow you. Twitter is the least secure social site ever. There's no way to whisper to anyone that I can see.

You have to be careful what you say, though, cause once I was musing on what homeless speed-dating would be like, and I swear to god, 8 dating things signed up to follow me. Creepy. Then I talked about vintage stuff, and 2 vintage users followed me. That's just too weird for me, lol.

After the election someone stopped following me because I didn't vote for Obama.  Lame, much?

Can I put a Twitter peeve in this thread? I hate it when a friend asks you to follow them, and you do, and they never follow you. Meanwhile, they're following like 50 other people, so it's not like it'd be a big deal if they added you, too. Sigh.

Some people try to make it like myspace and see how many followers they can get with no intent of actually following them...
