I gave it a 9. I don't think it was the best premiere they have had, but it was good! There were so many *gasp* moments-especially at the beginning with Daniel being in the Orchid. Of course Sawyer being shirtless for the episode was helpful. Daniel was the star of this episode. He was just amazing!!! He is Mr. Wizard!!!

I gave it a 9.  (I'm stingy with my tens.)  It was so stuffed with new ideas I'll have to watch it a few more times.  Very exciting!

9 from me.  I think it might have been the best season opener out of all, so far.  Short running time though, even with the double episode format.  The cut to LOST boom came at 53 minutes past the hour.  Add in commercials and it's even less total time.  Nit picky, but c'mon, it's been 8 months and we get short sheeted.

One standout among them all for me is now knowing what the purpose of Station 2, The Arrow was for.  Could the flaming arrows have been the defensive measures in action against the 815 "hostiles?"  Curious that Horace Goodspeed, the mathematician, would be involved with intelligence gathering and defense.

I gave it an 8, only because I liked The Lie better. If they weren't back to back, I might have given this a 9.

I gave it a 9. I loved it, felt it got us right into the action and got the season off to a great start.

Needed more kate.

When that island moved under them and they were so disoriented for a moment, I thought, "Holy crap, that is some scary junk!"  The fact that they scared me after I have dug around under every leaf in this story amazed me.

I thought it was awesome -- loved it loved it loved it.  9.5 from me, if I could.  It would've gotten a 10 if Sawyer had never found a shirt.
