island births
« on: January 29, 2009, 01:02:07 PM »
Just curious if the same conditions of fertility problems exist for Richard Alpert's 1954 community as it did for Ben's group. My friends thought that Dr Chang's baby did not appear to be Asian. Thought perhaps it could be Charlotte instead. Also I noticed that Ellie and Charles Whidmore the young had accents but Richard does not. Seems to be incongruous for a group indigenous to the island. Could it possibly be that Richard's group had to bring in young children from other places to continue their group?Perhaps that is why Ellie left the island to have Daniel( if that is the mother/son connection that people are suggesting) Very confusing

I always thought the childbirth problem came from something Dharma did. You are right in saying that the kids do have accents, not sure how this all fits into things.

Charlotte would have to be in her 50s then.
