Do Ben's backup plans take into account that his nemesis du jour has rigged a heart monitor to piles of C4? Tho, who cares if the freighter blows up? Not Ben, for the island itself would not be affected at all.

But who said that Keamy was gonna torch the island? Was it Lapidus? Why the big 'ta da!' on the freighter? it would've been cooler if there were a bank of rockets with napalm or fuel-air explosives ready to launch at the island upon Keamy's demise.

But thank you Jesus for cancelling Cane! It looks like Richard is back to true Other form to kick some ass, while wearing his nifty burlap sack.  I wonder to what extent he's playing the good lieutenant, following Ben's orders in this time of war?

Good Question! I loved seeing 400 year old Richard return in his original rugged form (except for the ever constant eyeliner, tattoo or dark lashes?). I didn't think he would be so prominent in the latter part of the season but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Between his appearance in Locke's episode, and this week's episode, I think he's on for the last 2 hours in a major way. Great storyline.

it's great that since the arrival and ascent of locke and the fall of ben as the others leader, they've reverted into looking much more like the 'hostiles' as opposed to normal civilians.

richard's others looked nothing like the ben, ethan, goodwin, juliet, beardless tom, danny group; and i like it!

its just a big hogepodge, those that are loyal to whoever. all made up of DI, Natives, Wreck survivors, abtuctees, people who thought they were getting ashiny new job in portland....

misfits or chosen people... either way this conflict is gonna come down to them.
