I'm giving it a ten, although it was not quite as good as last week. Close, but not quite. Next time will be awesome, I bet.

Gave it a 9. If Daniel had put gas in the Kodiak when he got to the freighter, it would've been a 10. But come on! Does he manage to brew some ethanol to put in that little engine while in transit?

I gave it a 9. There was a little too much Jack for me, but other than that it was great!

I really, really liked this episode for no other reason than being the Lost I fell in love with. That last scene was perfect LOST..left us all hanging for two damn weeks until our 2 hour finale! I'll let Lorie explain how the music and timing and all that jazz was the reason to love it.
I want to watch it again before I rate it tho. There was alot going on: Sawyers back! , Richards with us again!, Sun is my hero!, Jack finds out Claire was his sister, we see the numbers, Nadia, Ben has a plan!, etc...

I gave her a nine. from the opening scene it was great. The O6 getting off of the plane to greet their families, Hurley inviting sayid to meet his parents, Kate having no one but Aaron. Sun (Going all "Alpha-Female"), confronting her father about never accepting Jin and telling him about her plans for a semi-hostile takeover of Paik industries. the introduction of the orchid station and the return of the others and the numbers. fanfriggintastic.
This episode also included what was possibly one of my favorite scenes of the entire series. Jack and Claire's mother; the tie ins and connections spanning nearly the entire show. in my opinion this is going to be jack's breaking point, this is where it will all start to go downhill for the self proclaimed leader of our favorite castaways. Putting aside the daddy issues, the woman he loves is the sole provider of a child who is now his nephew.
We were all wondering quite abit about the initial return of the O6 and how that would exactly go. i think that the oceanic press conference handled it nicely. i think a full on Q and A by the press revealed alot about how the general public is made to believe that the cover up is mostly factual.
this episode didn't have much in the way of action but it was one of the most "Story progressing" episodes we have seen all season. and with this season thats saying quite a bit.
On top of all of this we get to see Sayid when he is truly happy. That alone is worth at least an eight.

I gave it a Ten because there were so many great scenes in this episode. Jack found out about Claire thus Aaron. Sun was completely awesome with her dad- even though she looked really sad when they first got back. The reunion of Sayid and Nadia was classic--so great! And Hurley's mom telling him Jesus Christ is not a weapon was THE best line of the night. And Holy explosives on that boat!!!!! The best part for me was at the very end when it shows everything that's going on in slow motion- this just sets up for the finale perfectly. I love when they do that!!!!!! Great Episode

The Lost teeter-totter with the big-boned, corn-fed good epi kid on one side and the anemic, sickly, skinny bad epi kid on the other was teeterin' and a totterin' prior to last night. Safe to say the results for me were of the sort that left physics and logic on the mainland and not on the Isle. Corn-fed jumped on and threw sickly skinny in the air...to which the skinny landed on his head and cried and corn-fed stood up and said happily and as a true Stoic, "This is our island. It’s a good island. Until the grown-ups come to fetch us we’ll have fun."...

I'm loving all the ties in almost chapter by chapter to the original Wizard of Oz book not the movie.

Definitely a 9. This was a fantastic episode, for everything everyone posted. Minus 1 point because it was really a stage-setter for Part II. I loved how the scenes with the O6 returning home - particularly them getting off the plane - were as if it was a tease of what we might have thought the ending of the show would be. Yet we know there's no happy ending just yet. Great episode, and I can't wait till Part II.

This one gets a 7 from me. Never read the Wizard book, but congrats on 10k posts Mr. Ms. Jackson.
I liked many things about the episode. Multiple units filming in different locations on the island gives us a broad spectrum of all the action going on. - We now know the story of the O-6 and their repatriation. Major points for hitching a ride on my beloved C-130 aircraft! - We now know how Jack finds out about Claire. Very unexpected. - We see the outside, greenhouse area of The Orchid. The station that's been talked about since Comicon.
Not much else...yet. The actors, while great, seemed rushed like they were handed their scripts an hour before filming. They're moving all the pieces into play for the final 2 hours. Those should be mind blowers! This one gets a 7, but the chessboard is ready for serious play.
