Yes, lowercase is better web etiquette. Generally one considers CAPS as shouting. Smiley

It's Hurley sitting behind Jack.
He's an OC6 and not shown with the rest of them. Jack is blocking Hurley out of scene.

urg sorry. i know the etiquette of forums and i don't mean to spam but my request did go completely ignored.

quote:
the jesus statuette hurley was holding looked almost exactly the same as a large statue in the background at the funeral for jack's dad.

well, I think the signifigance of the statuette is probably more linked to the episode where Hurley has a solid gold Jesus made for his mom. It's just a call back.

you know, I rewatched that and you're right, there is a seated figure in the front of the cargo hold that is in the shadows, it's most visible I think as the Oceanic rep is walking gingerly back to the group, before she tells them they will be landing soon. I can't make screencaps and I couldn't find an image at any of my favorite resource sites... sorry. But everyone keep your eye out for it tonite during the replay!

ETA: ok, I didnt see it there, but I'll check my copy of the epi from 2 weeks ago and see if maybe i was just imagining it... but not tonite, lol.

I finally rewatched it and I was wrong, the figure shows up when she is talking to the group. I don't really think it means anything in the long run but I had some free time and wanted to learn a little bit about my photoshop program, and wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining things, so I did this:

Here is the scene, notice the circled area.

and blown up...
