You know, I have a really hard time believing that Claire would leave Aaron. Period. I don't think she could be convinced to just leave him in the jungle, no matter what she was told. So if she's not seriously high on the island, she's dead. Also, back to the "the baby is not supposed to be raised by another." - Could this be "by another Sheppard" or something? I don't know. I"m just grasping at straws here.  |

There I also agree. If she's dead or drugged, how could she be that nonchalant about leaving Aaron sitting on a leaf. On the other hand, I can't imagine working a story in which undead/resurrected Christian Shepherd drugs his living daughter Claire and causes her to come to Jacob's cabin... I guess stranger things have happened.. I guess...

I said this somewhere else, but will put it here too: I remember that Des said that his visions were just flashes and only came true if he didn't tell them and followed them exactly. The moment he told what he saw to someone he was changing the outcome. Or something like that. So maybe he saw Claire getting on the helicopter, but by telling Charlie he changed the future. Desmond was also sure that the person with the parachute was Penny, but it was Naomi. I don't think he lied, he saw it, but it changed. |

The Mikhail thing is sketchy, because personally I still believe that he was one of the natives, and if that's the case, he might not be able to die, but that is not the issue right here, good catch on that though. I think the worry Des had about changing the visions by telling someone was more him just worrying about that. He didn't have any reason to think that other than his own personal concern. I do agree that the visions changed if they weren't followed exactly, but when you mention the parachute issue, remember that originally in the vision, Charlie took an arron to the neck and died. But also in that same original flash, Desmond also saw Charlie at the parachute when he cut down Penelope/Naomi (look real close and you can see him holding the chute. Upper left hand corner if I rememeber correctly.). So, I guess what I'm saying is that maybe we can't trust Desmond's visions after all. I can't believe I just said that after "quoting" his visions as cannon. Oh well, it is just a TV show...or is it?? LOL |
