I know an older man who said that his wife only knew she was pregnant for 6 weeks. She also had a cyst or tumor and the doctors didn't see or have proper ultra-sonic (1950's) equipment to verify a pregnancy. She & he found out they were pregnant 6 wks prior to delivery. The truth is stranger than fiction.

My first pregnancy was invisible the first 5 months, but after it was impossible to hide.
I watched cabin fever and Locke's mom was almost 6 months pregnant, she had no belly at all and a 50ies dress with accent on the small waist. It still seems impossible to me. But I think they showed it on purpose. So I guess I was wrong and they can later say Kate was 7 months pregnant when she got on that plane and it was not visible.

I have a pic of myself in non-maternity clothes while 6 months pregnant with #5 on here somewhere. lol I've never been Kate or Emily thin, but I think we've sufficiently made our point to JB. jk, JB I agree that Emily's small waist was exaggerated & emphasized! I really hope this entire discussion is put to rest tomorrow night!

Look at how long the Kelvin thread was up before it got taken down. Touche! (Darn...that's like 3 times in the past week. ) There is no beating of dead horses around here. It's more like....is the horse really dead? I saw it move after it was pushed through the sonic fence. The horse is only "mostly dead." There was no horse in the coffin. The horse may be dead in another parallel universe, but this horse never ages. Could the horse be pregnant? Maybe the dead horse is gay...let's discuss. ok. Stopping now.

Just mocking the idea that this issue will be settled anytime soon, not the Kelvin thread, but good point. I bet the horse got pregnat by Richard, when he travelled through time, into a parallel universe, where he then killed his twin, who doesn't age, and wears way too much Guy-liner.

case closed. news reports put Kate at 6 months on the plane when US Marshall had her in custody. She passed Aaron as 5 weeks old and they were on the island 108 days.
It's plausible, it's possible and they did it.

Oh, man, in your faces!!! At least that one reporter was kind of doubtful. You could hear it in his voice. This is a good set up for Kate being chased around by the Paprazzi wanting to know more about the baby and what not. Maybe this is what will make Kate have her mental breakdown (If she has one) and want to go back to the island.

Well, not plausible in the world we live in, but clearly it's what the Powers have decided for the Lost world, so yeah, case closed. I agree with Bob that they probably need this to further a plot line down the road, and the most likely candidate is that somehow, someway this ties in to Kate eventually going back to the Island.

I am betting that all of the O6 have some serious mental issues down the line which makes them want to go back. All involving some vision of a dead loved one. Hurley sees/saw Charlie, Jack sees/saw his dad; I'm betting that Sun sees Jin, Sayid sees Shannon (or Rousseau for some reason I'm thinking I says), and Kate sees Claire.
