Charlotte: Does something?
« on: May 02, 2008, 01:57:31 AM »
Oh so classic when Rose channels Sawyer and calls Charlotte 'Red'.  Not 'Wendy', but close!

Her Korean sounded pretty good. Was she born to a Brit stationed in Korea when she was a child? If she started to study when older, was it for her achaeological interests?  I suspect she's connected to Mr. Paik somehow.  If so, then did Widmore tell Abaddon to include her on the mission at his buddy Mr. Paik's request?

I just assumed that, with her world travels, she knew several languages, much like Naomi did.

Yeah, but it is a lot more fun connecting her to Paik!

I too noticed that her Korean pronunciation was pretty good.  (I studied Korean)  As someone who tried to learn a language later in life, it's difficult to do correct pronunciation.  When Hurley and that guy in the airport bathroom spoke Korean, it was with a very thick accent.

I assumed that Charlotte was multi lingual. When her friend said something about , "how many papers do you have to read to prove 815 went down?" She replied " How many are there?" That was in Tunisia I believe and I assumed she was not reading American papers.

Agree with Conway that Char is multi lingual with all her travels and by her comment with the 815 newspaper. I do still think that she has something evil planed by what Dan said to her after her and Rose have it out.
I still don't trust Char, not one bit.

And Dan having the hots for her ..... Eww

It's like seeing Opie(Ron Howard) and a bearded Winona Ryder. But in mixed roles.

He's mentally unstable tho, and she looks like she could totally send him over the edge.

I think she admires him. She is also very protective. I think their relationship could evolve into a mother-son type (think Freud).

There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion.

I quite like Charlotte now. I love her "don't give ****" attitude.
