Blah describes this episode.

The only reason it isn't lower than a 6 is because of Kate at the beginning.

Oh and Jaters unite. woot.

I agree. Not a lot of substance. It appeared to get into the manifestations on and off the island, but very little info otherwise. Why are Kate episodes always lame?

I liked S3 finale, but other than that, I haven't liked almost all of Jack's episodes.

The End :(

Loved:
1. The nod to Starwars with the falcon.
2. Jack and Kate were together.
3. Juliet realizing Jack did not love her.
4. Jin threatens Charlotte.
5. Hurley's scene in the hospital. That was a great scene!
6. Got to see some Miles ghostbuster action
Disappointed by:
1. Jack getting whiny in the end
2. Christian's appearance in both parts. I thought for sure someone else was coming to visit Jack.
3. I thought the wide shot of Miles with the hood up looked like Charlie-didn't like that.

Overall I really liked the episode-nice reveals but still more questions

Laws, yes!

This moment at the beginning and the preview of the next episode were among the few positives.

I suppose that soap opera crap that made up the majority of the episode has to exist to:
a. serve the narrative
b. keep the housewife demographic tuned in

I can do without it, though.

I enjoyed this episode because it showed the characters we care about. Glad to see Sun and Jin and Jin's interaction with Charlotte and Bernard with an important role. Personally I was glad for a respite from Ben and his many manipulations. I have never been much of a fan of the flashbacks or flashforwards unless they are short and to the point. This  flashforward was a bit too long and seemed to not make too much sense.
I was very disappointed that Smokie did not kill those evil men, appears to have maimed one only. Also our hopes were dashed that perhaps Danielle had survived.  seems out of character that the men from the boat took time to bury Karl and Danielle. And where is Claire? Is this scene showing why she does not go home with AAron?  It provided some answers and as usual posed others.  Overall enjoyable!

6 from me.
Okay, we get it.  Jack is a main character.  Do we really need another flash with him to move the story.  Granted his flash showed more details, but you can't keep going to the well every time.  It's gonna dry out.  Points for the Falcon toy though!

I think this might be the ending of Claire we've been looking for too.  She's gone.  Another mystery.  Done.

I did like the part when Miles "heard" Danielle & Karl.  His head's gonna explode when all the whispers blast him at the same time.

I too am surprised Smokie let anyone get away.  What'd they shoot it & it got scared?  It should have done all those guys in.

Not a tremendous Kate fan, but she looked purty good in several shots.

I liked this one. Had a laid back quality to it.
Someone mentioned after last weeks thrill-a-minute one wheel on the track ride that
a smooth flowing epi was in order, I think this fit the bill.

Nice time line links put in ala the Jack's scruffiness in the opening shower scene (did i just say shower scene....?)

Sawyer the protector...

What was Kate doing for Sawyer?

I rated it an 8. It wasn't a rollercoaster ride episode, but it gave us a couple more answers and of course added on some new questions in usual LOST fashion.  It had a kind of weird creepy feeling to it, with the Hurley bit in the mental faciility and his messages to Jack and how Claire just left Aaron to follow Christian?  What the heck was that??!!??!?!

I gave it a 10, best episode in a long time.  The Christian stuff gave me good bumps and when Hurley was reading his note from Charlie to Jack... WOW is all I can say.
