He was dragged out of the limo, and beat up a little and then pulled away. No clear evidence that he was killed, but Ben implied it.
Ben is a reason to me not believe the guy was killed. The little liar... 03. Tom returns to the island (presumably with Locke's father) and is later killed by Sawyer.
04. Without Tom around, the defenceless Arturo is kidnapped by Widmore. Surveillance footage is recorded by persons unknown.
Although Ben is able to radio the freighter from the line at the Barracks to the Looking Glass, I believe the video feed was "johnlocked" in the Flame, so I could guess it happened before Jack's rescue. |

Wow, I'm coming late to this. They look a lot alike to me. Could be nothing, could be something.
I've just skimmed the thread so forgive me if these ideas have already come out and I missed them.
If it is Arturo, it doesn't mean he's an Other. Could just be someone who does odd jobs for Ben off Island, including, um, entertaining Tom.
I see that Others have speculated that the beating occurred recently, but it would be interesting if it happened in the Meet Kevin Johnson timeframe. Maybe Tom's the videotaper.
On a side note, why was the Dead/Live Kelvin thread locked? Just seemed like harmless silliness to me....

I don't think Tom was the one taping, only because if that was Arturro, which seems to be the popular opinion (I don't agree, but what am I going to do), I don't think he would have just let it happen.

It seemed to me like Arturo was a one night thing too. It looks like him in that video, but he's probably just a patsy. Widmore probably thought he was a part of Ben's group, or Ben set him up to get caught by Widmore to get that footage.
