So, how about this, which came first, Tom and the boy toy in the hotel, or the tape?? Because if the tape happened first, then they can't be the same person, right??

Why would they have to be different people if the tape happened first? Its possible that Tom had an ongoing relationship with him, Ben/Widmore/whoever made the tape, showed it to Tom, time passed and Arturo healed and then we see him again with Tom in the hotel.

I thought the tape was meant to make us think that the guy was killed. |

I could be wrong, I only watch the episodes once until the DVDs come out, but I thought we only saw him being beaten up and left, we had no confirmation he was dead (and I don't believe people on LOST are dead until they're buried).

Okay, fair assumption. I think we actually only saw him take one punch and maybe a kick and then the camera shuts off. But like I said, I just kind of assumed he was dead. |

Tom later went off-island (presumably to abduct Locke's father), spent some time with Arturo and met up with Michael. 03. Tom returns to the island (presumably with Locke's father) and is later killed by Sawyer. 04. Without Tom around, the defenceless Arturo is kidnapped by Widmore. Surveillance footage is recorded by persons unknown. 05. Ben copies the surveillance footage onto the 'Red Socks' cassette. Or are you talking about the date the actual beating was filmed? I'm really okay if it goes one way or the other. I think this is one of those things that we are all looking for something that isn't really there, but I could be terribly wrong, and I'm okay with that. I just posted under here to have something to talk about at my crappy job. I used to go to the "Does anyone think that Kelvin might still be alive" thread to cheer myself up, but that got locked out. |
