A the very least it is an interesting coincidence. Looks similar to me.
Et tu, uh, Jug?? You can see the huge jutting chin on Tom's guy is nowhere to be seen on the guy from the tape. Plus, the noses look significantly different. |

Make A LOT of sense to me... Perhaps even it's intended to be used as a tool for Ben deal with Tom. AND Widmore interrogating him is very logical if Arturo is really the guy on the tape. And if MangoBingo is right, what can we take about Ben telling him was one of his men? Really, In the Hotel the poor guy doesn't appear to be an Other. Just like everything else, there's a mystery about who that blindfolded fella was and when it was pointed out he looked like Tom's wife, the discussion began.

Looks like him to me. I'd even say an exact match. I think at the very least the show wants keen viewers to THINK it's him. The guy in the tape could be of no importance at all or be Tom's boy toy or both.

....or, maybe Ben could want Tom to think its Arturo. I mean, you can't really tell, and if Ben needed to manipulate Tom, that could be a good way. If Ben's showing Tom this video, Tom's not gonna analyze it too closely, he's just gonna be like omg no don't do that, I'll behave.

Unless it was a fling and Tom didn't really care for him.. for instance if he met him at a bar or something.
Plus, one would think that Arturo didn't work for Ben since he left the area before Tom said anything.
