With all the information we now know, 815 had to be on the correct coordinates to find the island, and this happened at the same time Desmond made it break apart(not pushing the button in time). I can't see how this could be a coincidence. Any thoughts?

Welcome, Suzanne!

I dunno, things tend to crash when they get near the Island even without Des sending out superpulses.

I think that the only way to SAFELY get on the island is to follow the coordinates. Anything NOT following the coords will CRASH.
