325 vs. 305
« on: March 21, 2008, 12:58:25 PM »
I keep seeing people talking about the coordinates given to get off the island. What I want to ask is, didn't Michael's boat and the helicopter take off from different parts of the island? The boat from a deck on one side and the heli from the beach? Couldn't that explain why the coordinates were different? Michael seemed to get off the island fine with no side effects, so when Ben told him 325, it must have been right, right?

Offline this is some crazy stuff

Yea i Think so.  People had a debate on which one was right but I just think that from the perspectives of where each one was on the island is it took them straight to the same  (WORMHOLE so to speak).

I saw last night's epi and right when the guy, that is looking at the video feed from the Plane wreckage, said "are you seeing this?" the "Distance" meter read 305ft.  Does this mean anything? ???

Man of few words.

I personally think it means only that the distance to object is 305 ft. I don't think it is that significant. Maybe just an Easter Egg.

Word.

And 3+5=8, one of the magic numbers.
And if you add 0 to it, nothing changes.

Just to be clear, 305 is a heading, not coordinates.

hefalumps had a great theory here.

Basically, different bearings lead you to different exits!
