No prob.  My intention was to spare you from the slap on the hand I received when I did the same a few episodes ago.   I don't consider the previews spoilerish, but some turn off the TV immediately after the last LOST drops to keep themselves clean! 

JB I was specifically told not do discuss these and all I said maybe there would be another dead body...speculating...so what are the rules? Not trying to be fresh, but where does one discuss the previews if the are not technically spoilers?

The previews are not technically spoilers, or they weren't last I checked. However, I don't make the rules, so you'd have to ask a mod to be sure.

You can find the whole policy on spoilers here but in a nutshell, as it pertains to this discussion at least, is that "sneak peeks" on abc.com ARE spoilers. The previews shown after the episode airs, and throughout the week on your local ABC affiliate are NOT spoilers. So what hatch4815162342 said about the preview (it said trailer but I believe he/she meant preview) is not considered a spoiler.

While site rules are allow for it, I try NOT to post revealing info from previews simply as a courtesy to users who really don't want to know.  That's why it's nice to have [spoiler] spoiler tags [/spoiler].

Believe me, I understand it's not a perfect system, and I am a true spoiler-hater! But there has to be a cut off line. I mean, I suppose we could say that no one could discuss the episode until after it airs on the west coast, or no one can say anything until an hour and 5 minutes after it's available for download overseas... but then, whats the point of having a website that discusses what was seen on TV. The reality is, if it is broadcast on tv it is likely to be seen by the majority of the users, whether it be right after the epi or later that week, and people want to talk about what was aired. And the last few weeks not withstanding, the majority of the previews tease and add to the mystery more than answering any questions.

Again, I understand, and I'm sorry that the system that prevents spam won't allow spoiler tags, but sadly, we now have to punt and work with it the best we can.

and of course, with the way my luck has been going Sledge will fix the spoiler tags in the next few minutes and I'll just look like a tool for this post....

I hope he does fix them... I would have enjoyed the mercenary reveal much more.
