Pretty sure they were just close to the temple and ben probably told all the others to shoot if anyone comes close
or maybe there is no temple Tangent...maybe the a Temple is not a literal temple but another DHARMA hatch. I think you're on to something, Matahari! |

It is a DHARMA hatch it had the other symbols the other hatchs had ....I thought the same - real temple. NO Danielle was not on Ben's side. She loves Alex and would do anything to keep her daughter. Unfortunate and unecessary death after 16 years....another death on Ben Benny and the Deaths.....(singing rather poorly to EJ's Benny and the Jets) |

I'm pretty sure there really is a temple or a place they call the temple since I think I remember Ben and Richard talking about heading to the temple last season. I think Ben even said to continue on to the temple without him when he left to confront the survivors at the radio tower.

I looked at the scene again and the map he had was one that showed the dharma symbol for the hatch named the temple. maybe they posted this map in investigations

It's there, with a comparison to Daniel's map.
Similar locations on the map but who knows the if they're from the same point of reference.
Hmmm...
Temple or Tempest.
I hope this isn't true actually. Just thought I'd throw it out there. The Temple better be some cool ruin or cave. A super hatch would be cool too..

I was really hoping for some sort of ancient temple place, something somehow tied to the four toed statue. I can't see how that would be any a safer place than a steel doored lockable Dharma station so maybe it is a super Dharma station. I'm sticking to my hopes and dreams that the map was a fake just to get rid of Danielle and Carl.

I don't think it's a hatch either. When Richard and Ben were having the temple conversation, they were camped among what looked like ruins. I think they're headed for some ancient place.

Last season, when they headed to the temple, leaving Locke with Cooper, I did thought it too. A REAL temple related to the statue's foot. |

I was really hoping for some sort of ancient temple place, something somehow tied to the four toed statue. I'm thinking The Temple (where Ben sent the Others at the end of last season) will be where the four-toed statue is. It may also be a hatch as well -- a hatch located within temple ruins which contain the four-toed statue. (I like to have my cake and eat it, too...) |
