You've noticed his "looking better than Goodwin's" visage wandering around the periphery, talking to vincent, sitting in Jacobs place havin' a cold one...
hehe cold one, didn't intend that corpse like pun, but it does seem appropos....

She had the same thing Desmond did, but with no knowledge of a constant
There's no solid evidence of that, but it's good speculation.

I think it's because a botfly bored into her brain and she just had no idea what she was doing. That's my new theory.

Seriously though, maybe it has something to do with Michael. Not like he's intentionally spreading a disease like someone mentioned earlier, but that due to his prolonged exposure to the island, and the fact that the freighter is so close to the barrier/bubble around the island, there is some kind of cross contamination or something.

Well, are we kind of accepting what Tom said last night?? About how the people became disoriented due to lack of communication?? I have heard in the past that people can become rather loopy after being out at sea for a while, and not seeing land, so maybe the lack of communication just made these people go over that edge and as the captain said, they gave into their cabn fever.

It was Ben I think, and no, there's more to it than that. But Ben wasn't going to try to explain the proximity effects of the Island's barrier in a few minutes conversation.
