CABIN FEVER! They suffer from "cabin fever," are you kidding me?

What exactly do you think cabin fever is?  Ever been stuck at sea for three months... I've been stuck at sea for 5 days and I wanted to blow my brains out!

Sorry. I have sea legs. I like the open ocean, not that it doesn't suck after a while.

Could be Brandon.  Minkowski and he went out on their little field trip, get back,  Brandon takes a ride on the Reminton express and Miki rides Ferris wheels.  Minki did say Brandon ended up in a body bag.

Stuck @ sea sounds like a pleasure cruise!  9y-o, 7y-o, 4y-o, 2y-o, & 3 month old here. ;D

The stain was reminiscient of Radzinsky....another victim of cabin fever.

Why take offense to the "cabin fever" diagnosis by the ship's captain? He is not a doctor. Yes, I do realize he knows more than he is letting on but should he tip his hand to strangers. I could see how the conversation would go:

Ship Captain - Sayid according to your dossier you are a trained killer. And you Desmond Hume are the lost love of Penny Widmore who's father is bankrolling this endeavor. What you just witnessed is a complex issue. I will try to explain in layman's terms :The island you were on has unique magnetic properties that can alter the time space continuum that allowing time travel. Imagine having that power gentleman. Mr. Faraday said something about needing a constant when traveling to and from the island so you don't go insane. What we are seeing the effects are also occurring on our ship due to the close proximity of the island. Trust me I am not happy my crew is literally dying to get away from here. Mr. Widmore has sent us here for Ben Linus because his knowledge and power in regards to the aforementioned island and it does not matter who we hurt or kill along the way. Actually Desmond, could I call you Dez, Mr. Widmore wouldn't mind if you jump overboard to save that woman. If it is okay with you two we will refer to any further episodes like this as cabin fever. We already burried Brandon and Minkowski at sea and she just saved us a body bag. Before I forget I have my janitor preparing their room for you.

Sayid and Dez simultaneously - Cabin fever it is then.

Sorry for the tangenous rant but I found this epi ??? very un-spectacular.

think we're just thinkin' along the lines of "keep is simple" regarding this accourding to previous evidence, the "body bag" dude, the wacky chick with her chains etc....and our own (least mine) own semi fictional "cabin fever" ;D

Suicide due to the islands affects on them, just like the girl who jumped.

Agreed.  I think Regina (the girl who jumped) got the double whammy, because I think she might have been the R.G. on Naomi's bracelet.  Not only did she go stir crazy, but she may have lost her girlfriend.

Hadn't thought of Brandon being the source of the blood stain, but that could be it.  Looks like whoever did it was standing up, though.  I believe I would sit down before shooting myself.

Could this term have something to do with Jacob's Cabin?? Maybe Jacob transported his cabin to the ship, and drove everyone crazy who saw it, sort of like the last arc of the covenant, except with out all the face melting. Okay, I'm totally just kidding about this. Just thought it was funny, and you know that someone else is going to suggest this seriously as a reason for the term "cabin fever".

micheal looks like a janitor kind of dude so he would be able to do that stuff...

why?? Because he's black?? That's racist...you're racist.

As far as the bloodstain goes, that is deffinitely the blood spatter of a self inflicted gunshot wound. probably either in the mouth, or under the chin, because both of those firing positions would "require" an upward angle to make sure the person completely destroys the brain stem. I don't have the image right in front of me, but was there a smaller stain on the wall below and to the left of the larger one??

Hurley rocks dude- I was just kidding, you're not racist.
