I posted elsewhere that if Ben says it's a man the probability that it's a man drops about 20 points.  Wink

Oh no she didn't? Did she.

Oh it's so not a "woman" esp. when Ben says, he has a "MAN" on the boat.

Plus 150 points, cuz a woman would stear the boat in the wrong direction.

No, the Powers have made it clear that dead is dead. So no such resuscitative powers, sorry.

I know, I know - but my denial serves me well  Wink

Naomi said to Charlie something to the effect, "Good thing you're not really dead then, isn't it?"

I'm not convinced Kelvin is dead either since we never actually saw him dead, just dying and it looked like whatever happened to Patchy was a lot worse than Kelvin's head smack.  But Locke wouldn't know him.  I hope it's not Michael for the logical reasons everyone has already listed, but I think it's safe to say he's on the boat, and I don't know who else Locke would need to sit down to hear about.  Or it's Walt... If Walt really is helping Locke (and I believe Lindelof and Cuse said it WAS him), then I don't see why he'd be helping Locke after Ben left him for dead if he's working for Ben.  But then again, it would tie in to the ultimate goal of keeping the freighter people off the island.

I think "Kevin Johnson" will tie into Ben's man on the boat.  Either Michael is using that as an alias, or there really is a Kevin Johnson.

OK, so I know I posted a response to this earlier, but I think I may be changing my mind already.  After reading a bunch of stuff,  I have came to the conclusion that I am not completely sure that it is Michael on the boat, even though I have previously said otherwise.   I have good reason, I just can't put it out there on this board . .

My first thought has been that it is Walt, he can make himself appear places so this could be how he communicates with Ben. But now I am wondering if we will see someone we thought was dead, after all that would be someone we would not expect to see.

I like the idea of it being Walt.  He's on the boat, but not really on the boat.

Yeah, me too.  I never thought of this until now, but I think it makes sense.  Maybe Walt he's uses the time travel thing to go from boat, to island, to back to Michael and since he's 'special' he's not effected by the time travel.  This would also shock Locke because he knows Walt was special and Walt saved him.  I think Locke will feel very good about having Walt as the Man on the boat.

Yeah, I was thinking Walt too.  In fact, Walt would be easier to swallow than Michael.  The biggest snag in the Walt theory for me is that he seems to be helping Locke (if that IS Walt) and I can't picture him having any loyalty to Ben.  The same with Michael, why would he help Ben and how could he help Ben?  Or is he helping Ben and just doesn't realize it?  After everything that has happened these past few weeks, who knows what Ben is capable of.

Walt would be working for Jacob, not Ben and Ben is supposed to be working for Jacob.  So perhaps Jacob is telling Walt to help Ben.

Or infiltrate Ben's operations along with Locke in order to depose Ben.
