if these episodes keep getting better you're going to have to add bigger numbers.

Hurley working for Locke to trick Kate and Sayid? Sayid working for Ben?
I liked the other two episodes better, and I'm sure I'll like the next one as well.

this episode was great. no matter how into LOST you are, you never expected any of the things in tonight's off-island story to happen.

8. that 10 will only be given out ONCE. an that will probably be series finale. so really, it is a scale of 1-9 for me. i loved this episode, of course, but i hate that a) naomi didn't wake up and b) many many many more questions. Almost verging on TOO many more. I mean....this episode will be an excellent one to discuss.

An 8. I didn't like seeing Locke second-guessing his power so soon after getting out of 'that ditch'. Cute interplay between Jack & Kate at the chopper. Tho I was hoping the secret door to Ben's Playhouse was one of the tunnels from the blast door map, it was pretty trippy to see the GQ stash. And the story intensity picked up from there, with a great surprise ending. Notice how they modulated Michael Emerson's voice, so you weren't 100% sure it was him, but you had a strong gut feeling? Great piece of tension.

6....maaaaaybe 7 on this one. Like sex & pizza...any Lost is good Lost, but this episode was just slower. I feel like we lost some of the momentum from the season's start. Episodes like this seem almost wasteful of the limited amount of shows we have left in the series!

I gave it a 4. Everybody knows how much I love Sayid, but I found this episode very disappointing. I wouldn't mind if Sayid were working with Ben, but working for Ben is just wrong! Sayid doesn't belong in a subordinate position at all! Then he uses sex to obtain information (outrageous) and falls for his subject (super-stupid). It's just not like him. Furthermore, when did he become left-handed? I don't remember that he was before.

Your character had his fall from grace just like us Jack fans had during 3x22, and just like Hurley fans had during 4x1. The island is the place of grace and redemption - their old lives are ruined without it. I thought it was very telling that Sayid's silent good-bye to the island was filled with melancholy and looks of longing - he was not triumphantly riding away on the helicopter.

You're right, of course. Is it possible that Sayid believes that Ben really is the "good guy"? Or is he being coerced? I guess I just didn't like him being intimate with the enemy. It seems like he had to convince himself that he loved her in order to do his job.

Dude, what's wrong with Home Depot? Sorry, I thought everyone knew me and my mad obession. I guess I have been gone too long.... Clancy Brown does the voice over for Home Depot. Clancy Brown plays Kelvin Joe Inman on Lost. I think Kelvin is alive. So anything I can tie Clancy with Lost, makes me happy and therefore I gave the episode an 8 and not a 7 because of the 2 Home Depot commercials.
