Well, hasn't the idea that the Others are the savages we need to avoid essentially been blown apart?  Juliet was never put through Room 23.  That was a punishment place for dissidents.  We don't have any proof that Cindy was tortured into acclaimating.  If anything, we see her well dressed and apparently in her right mind.

Not by me.

The room exists. They put Karl in there. They put Walt in there. Cindy coulda decided to just go along with the crowd and so avoided the trip.

I dunno about Juliet. Too strong willed so it didn't take? Needs to be extra sharp in her job, so best not mess with her mind? Lots of possibilities.

And still no evidence that she wanted to go with them before her disappearance.  ;)

All right, I concede.

But not without pointing out that - since we don't know how the collection of people on 815 got onto 815 and who was mainpulating 815, we can't know yet what was in Cindy's noggin.

I'm done.  :D

I've long believed Cindy to be a plant, because of her relationship with Gary Troup.

However.....L&S does make a fine point about the power of room 23! (See my sig. ;D)
