The blast door map clearly had an area marked as mountainous terrain with electromagnetic properties that was probably used for meteorological experiments. Anyone have a scrren cap of that map that can be posted here?

YES!! That's what I was referring to; in the upper right hand corner there are two notes that indicate there may be another station or research facility dedicated to weather experiments.

That unknown station would have to be on the volcanoe which would place it near the FLAME station.

For the record, cows have milk.  Bulls have horns.

Cows don't like being called "him".

Have we ever seen another cow somewhere OFF the island?

I'm thinking about Kate's horse -- it was seen both off and on the island.

Now after Charlotte's episode, we have a polar bear on the island, and polar bear bones (wearing a Dharma collar) off the island.

In Ep. 4, we have Ben working in some sort of facility with a lot of dogs in it.

What's the deal with the animals?  If there's some sort of "bend in the time-space continuum" like TPTB have said (in their "EW" interview), then are the animals travelling back and forth?  Did Kate's horse end up on the highway right in front of the marshall's car and cause that accident because it was "drawn" to her for some reason as it was pulled off-course during some time-travel experiment they were doing on the island?

OK, this is really random and out-there, but I just made the animal connection while reading a past episode summary about the horse...

TPTB said the cow is the same from Patchy's place. Means nothing, just showing that it is ok.

Thanks, Jugdish.  The earlier picture that was posted on this thread didn't look like the same cow -- it looked to me like the one at Patchy's place had horns.  But I'll take TPTB's word for it!

Now we just have to be on the look-out for this cow in a future flash-forward...  Cheesy

Thank you. This is either a cow (girl) or a bull who desperately wants some surgery. No self-respecting red-blooded Islander bull would be caught dead wearing that prissy horn. His buddies would never let him hear the end of it.
