Purpose of a Cow?
« on: February 09, 2008, 11:51:48 AM »
Yes probably another manifestation of some sort but seriously was that needed?

Especially showing it's balls.  Jezz come on that was uncalled for.

Yeah... cows should be ashamed... can't they wear underoos?  Anyways, I think it was a real cow.  I think Patchy had a cow/cows at the Surveillance station or whatever Locke blew up.  Maybe it was a part of an experiment or maybe the others just like steak.

I like this... maybe the cow is symbolizeing mikail and kind of saying "yeah.. you're screwed" lol

but didnt the producers confirm mikail dead?

Sometimes a cow is just a cow.

The Powers have used these first couple of epis to show us parts of the island we've seen before. The cockpit, Jacob's cabin, the stony reaches where Kelvin was killed, and the area near to Mikhail's cabin. Not sure if the pond Charlotte dropped into was the same as the one Sawyer and Kate found, didn't seem as pretty, but that could be another tie in.

seriously, not only did they show a cow...but the cow had a freaking cowbell.

it was a little cheeseball and cartoonish in my opinion. i mean, obviously its a cow...we get it.

BUT...maybe the lost writer's had a fever...and the only prescription was more cowbell. ;D

It's not a cow.  It's a bull.  I know I'm being picky, but it's a bull.

On a serious note, I think the cow with the cowbell was a great change of pace. The pilot is trying to get up the hill, and you think he'll see Locke's smiling face, or something mysterious, but it's just a cow. I loved that scene.

For me, this season is the exact opposite of Season 3. As much as I hated last season, I love this season. They seem to be putting in the extra little things that made Lost great in Season 1.
