Locke's bullet hole(s)
« on: February 08, 2008, 10:54:17 AM »
Any one notice that Locke had a beauty of a bullet hole in his back...but no kidney transplant surgery scar?

Well, Locke DID say that he was still alive because there was no kidney there anymore for the bullet to hit, so it would have been the same side.

Well, the old guy has been thru so much all his life and specially lately, who can blame him for getting his kidneys mixed up? Besides is backs up his "fate" mindset, so who is he to question himself???;)
Now seriously, just a continuity mistake by the make up crew, maybe?

maybe the scar was "healed away" at the same time his legs were fixed.

yeah, I'm betting it's just a continuity thing.  not a big deal, in any case

Or the bullet hole is right where the scar is.

His scar was evident in s1e21 when he was washing Boone's blood from his shirt.

As a kidney transplant patient... I know that the scar from donor is in the front. They now do laproscopic removals so there is very little scarring to the donor. My sister's scar is about 3 inchs long on the lower right front and also some smaller scars about a half in long where they inserted the camera's and cutting tools.
