Both Ben and Locke were surprised he talked about the cabin. I think that means it was not Locke in the cabin. He would of know that it was Hurley. It must mean the Hurley has a special connection to the island also.

You must be special to be able to see it and especially jacob.

I know you must be "special" to see jacob. It was especially shocking to Ben that Locke heard Jacob. I guess Ben thought he was the only one to be able to do that. Now that Hurley can at least see him I think ben will be threatened by that.

I think it was just a vision some aspect of the island made him see the cabin, they were prob surprised the island "revealed" it to him

With all that has gone on It is easy to forget, but Hurley does have a major connection with the island through the numbers.

After watching the episode again, I was thinking that was Hurley eye in Jacob's cabin. Like that movie with John Cusak.
I think that was just Hurley seeing a vision that the Island or Jacob gave him. It wasn't really Jacob's cabin.
Since it disappeared when Hurley closed his eyes, just like Charlie disappeared.

i heard an interview with jorge garcia and he said that the actor who was the eye in the window was someone we havent seen yet. so it could be someone that arrived in this episode

Both Ben and Locke seemed thrown off that Hurley had mentioned the cabin.  I guess they don't want anyone else in the "special" club.

Remember Hurley is actually the only one that was on 815 because of a reason tied to the island and it's mythology.  He was in Australia to investigate the numbers.

Could he be the actual "main" character or the reason 815 crashed on the island>

http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Rob_Kyker  Last season's Jacob was played by the prop master as they had yet to cast the real Jacob. lol

Jeff Fahey was Lapidus tonight.
