I meant time space travel....and it depends how long back in time it went for it to desintergrate....egyptian scrolls have lasted 5000 years...but a decade or two may not cause something to rot away....

Sometimes, you have to go a long way out of your way in order to come back a short distance correctly.

Does anyone smell Orchids?

That's exactly what I was thinking.

BTW, I'm new to the forum.  I've seen the Orchid video, but can you tell me where it came from exactly?  I haven't seen any background on it, only that it turned up on YouTube.

Thanks in advance!

I beleive it is the teleportation thing.  Plays along nicely with Walt's special powers, the islands powers to bring back horses, dead fathers, etc.

NO way I would walk away from the show if that was the case.

Really?  Was there any explanation accompanying it?  I'm not doubting you, but that would seem to be pretty random for ABC to post.

Ok, thanks, guess I'll check it out and look for an explanation.  Sorry for getting semi-off-topic.

Yeah, I thought it revealed A LOT, that's why I was surprised to learn it came from ABC.com.

I don't like the teleportation/ time travel idea. I think it was an experiment, they bought that bear there for something, it just didn't pop there.

the orchid video was shown after lindelof and someone else did a speech at comicon this past year, i believe they claimed to have found it somewhere in norway, or something like that.

The scene reminded me of Raiders of the Lost Ark.  I guess it was like any Steven Spielburg-directed desert scene.

They already did teleportation and time travel, so you can't pretend it never happened, and that Orchid video just added fuel to it.  I thought it was a joke at first, but it could be a hint at the direction the show is headed.
