Taken and brainwashed. Nothing like a visit or two to room 23 to soap down your noodle.
SO quoteworthy. Yeah, why don't you trade your Jefferson sig quote for that one? I think they look good together, don't you? Fabulous!

I think he was there. An orderly saw him (as opposed to one of the inmates), and he went out a door (as opposed to just disappearing).

I think the lawyer was there, but the trick about him is that he's Dharma, not just Oceanic. His presence shows me more that the plane was a Dharma tool. I've been fuzzy about that - but yeah, I think they were all put on the plane by a higher power.

Ok then next question if he is Dharma, then who was on the island getting them off? Alot of speculation is that people on the frieghter are Dharma, so if they got them off, why is someone asking them from Dharma about people on the island...that dont add up...

I only think that the freighter people are going to take "the 6" back to the mainland for because they want it. Dharma's main initiative is to take back the island's power. If Jack and co. didn't want to be part of that, then Dharma was willing to let them go. But back on the mainland Dharma would still be trying to solve their questions. I don't think Dharma knows everything - they have to gather their info just like any group does. Maybe the boat people fail in their objective (and maybe even because they had to deal with Jack and co.) and Dharma is still trying to get the job done - go back to who they know might have some info - Jack and co.

I'm going to go with the theory that he works for the home offices of Mittelos Bioscience. They seemed to have people on assignment all over the globe. If they suddenly LOST contact with Ben & the gang...

I'm pretty sure of these two things:
1. The Oceanic guy wasn't from Oceanic.
2. Whatever group he actually represents is in competition with or opposition to the folks who are on "not Penny's boat"
Only in the Lost world could I get away with saying things like that....

I guess it all comes down to who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. I state here and now that Ben is the bad guy who has used the power of the island for his own megalomania. The only thing that he has done right is to protect the island. But the island is going to have its day. Dharma is closest to its purposes because they wanted it explored for world peace. But I think the island has bigger things to do - redeem, restore, heal, release anyone who is willing - a sort of paradise.
If my construct is wrong, then the island needs to be stopped instead of freed. But I really think that whoever wants to work with the island for good is going to prevail in the end.

The funny thing is as of S3 we all kinda thought we knew who was good and who was bad...now it's all up in the air...back to WHO KNOWS!!! LOL It could be all about the island, no matter what or who, the island still lives on for its own good..

I've heard tales of airlines giving out free passes to people who have had "bad" experiences. Our losties certainly qualify for that. but there is no way That dude was from Oceanic. I'm on the fence as to if they guy existed at all. Hurley is known to see things....

The gold passes were a bribe. I knew of a guy who caught a mishap videotape while at a Disney resort and they bribed him with gold passes in exchange for the tape.
The "deal" that was cut with the 6 rescuees is probably one of silence. Oceanic probably already told the world that the plane was found in the ocean with everyone dead. The 6 are probably under orders not to tell anyone the truth.
It seems like the six made their own pact not to tell anyone, and someone out there wants to know the truth. My question is why would they decide not to tell? Do they not want their dirt to get out? It's hard to tell if they got any money from Oceanic, the way they were living didn't indicate they were rich OR poor.

'Juliet' was on The View the other day and about the only thing she offered up about the show was that people will be surprised to find out that the characters they thought were good are really in fact really evil. Or words along them lines.
