ok if you were in that situation at the cockpit, would you walk over to Locke's Team or would you stick with Jack's Team??? I reckon this will give us a good idea of how we will be split throughout the season of who we're going to support. Enjoy

I'm with Jack. He's got Kate and Juliet already, and with me on their team we're sure to win.

i personally had to go for Locke. Since the beginning every one put their faith in locke and i cant turn against the man of faith as charlie said in the early episodes.
"No offense mate, if i had to put all my faith in one man to save us all, it'd be John Locke"
Wooo Go Team Locke!

To paraphrase Rose " I'm not going anywhere with that man" Locke is nuts. He would burn down every building because he thought people should live in huts.

Locke, but only because the show has offered us partial omniscience.

Definitely with Locke. Jack has proven to be a moron ever since season 1, and by seeing him ready to shoot Locke's face off just because he flung a knife at Naomi was more proof that he's going insane. Locke, on the other hand, was ready to explain in this episode, but of course the writers didn't let him do it. hehhe.
plus, Ben wants to go with Locke. While I don't generally trust what Ben says, he is certainly wise and knows more than anyone else on the island. so Locke.

That's what I figure too given that conversation between Jack and Kate last year's finale. But I can't help but think, "why did Hurley apologize to Jack about choosing to side with Locke?". Hurley went as far as saying that he "should have never went with Locke." I wonder what secrets they are hiding and why Jack got so scared after Hurley asked him if he was there because he thought that our beloved resident, island-nutso would spill the beans. It's a tough choice... Jack cries too much and Locke is a bit of a curiosity. Sawyer pretty much made my decision for me. Plus, "you gotta have faith a faith a faithhhhhhhhhh..." (j/k! someone please get the song out of my head!)

Jack is doing everything he can to get off the island. Locke is doing everything he can to stay on the island.
Until Locke starts explaining himself, I don't see how you could trust him.

I'd go w/ Team Jack... let's face it, Locke's a constant screw up and he doesn't want to leave... at least Jack is trying.

Well said, direct and terse. That's exactly what I mean with Locke being a curiosity, and I would even go as far as say possibly cuckoo. I like how Jack called him out on his motives for sabotaging any means of exit from the island last night. But you gotta give it to Locke for recruiting fun-time Hurley. And I wonder how the whole Locke-Ben dynamic will change.

would i go with JUST locke, NO! he's crazy, unpredictable, etc. but i would go with TEAM locke, look at who else is with them!! they are going to a "safe place," and have reason to believe that the freighter people are not who they say they are.

I think uof brought up a good point. Hurley and Jack were crying (no surprise) when Hurley said that he shouldn't have went with Locke.
I am sure some really bad things happened. Locke is crazy. Jack is crazy. Show me one person on that island that isn't a little crazy. I can only think of Rose and Sun. Both went with Jack.

I would have to say that I would go with Team Jack on this one . . I mean, after the fact, lord knows how long they have been off the island, and Hurley says that he never should have went with Locke. At this point, I don't know that anyone is safe on the island because nobody knows really what to expect. Locke may have premonitions or an inner look at the island or whatever you wanna call it, but unlike Rose, or Locke or any of the others that want to stay on the island, I would want to get home. And so it would only be logical to with the team whose goal is to not only get off the island, but also has a doctor available if anything were to happen to me and has a clear mind to analyze things and work through problems without letting premonitions or messages from the island get in the way. Just my thought . .

And yes, I am aware that Rose went with Jack on this one, but you remember in the past that the island healed Rose and she had contemplated staying on the island for that reason also. . .

Ugh, that's a really hard choice especially since we have "inside" information for being viewers. If I didn't know everything I know from watching the show I think I might choose Jack just because he's been the leader. I also would probably feel better going with the larger group. But at the same time I think I would stop and say, "wait, Locke you need to explain yourself with details, and you too Ben, right here right now, everything." But obviously that would never happen.
...so maybe I would just run screaming into the jungle.
