Hurley's Visions

I am starting to believe that Hurley is in the center of all of this. Given that the comic book had belonged to him, early on I thought that the island was a projection of his mind. Many of the happenings on the island seemed to have a surreal dream-like quality and seemed to be centered around him.

Also. it seems that the Oceanic 6 might NEED to be off-island to survive whatever carnage is going to befall those who stay behind, in order to return and fulfill their role in the master plan.

I know a lot of people have been going on about the "ho ho ho" thing and the possible hollow earth theory, but I think I figured it out. With several metions of Charles Dickens already in the show, It hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. Hurley is visited in Santa Rosa by 3 three "spirits" Abadon, Charlie and Jack. One wants to know about the past, one wants to know about the present and one wants to know about the future. This episode is A Christmas Carol.

I guess the question in my head is how is Hurley's vision different from Desmonds premonitions?  On a side note, this better not all be in his head
