I'm glad bikini girl sang.  She was awful! and she needs to hear herself on video so she'll know just how bad a singer she is.  She missed every single note.  Also, I think Tatiana's appearance was scripted.  Ryan said he really had to go to commercial and then Tatiana got up on stage and took over in a very pushy way.  There was a big show about trying to escort her off the stage, but if Ryan and the director really didn't want to give her airtime they would have cut to a commercial.  It seemed phoney to me.

Yeah, I think it was a spoof on how tenacious she was! She wasn't about to take no for an answer! I loved the bikini girl bit too; Kara isn't my favorite, but she sure put her in her place (natural breasts and all)!

The Tatiana thing was a joke, S.O.L.... :p

And about the duet with Allison and Cindy Lauper (sp??)...I thought Allison sounded great...but Cindy looked, acted, and sounded like a nut job.  I was laughing at her saying "Um, is that woman on crazy pills?"

Definitely not awesome.

I did like Lionel Ritchie.  He still sounds great!
And even though Rod Stewart's voice is just hanging on by a thread...that man is beyond cool.

The joke sailed over my head, either because I was watching a DVR recording and fast forwarding through most of the show, or because I dislike Tatiana so much.  I hope she doesn't show up on the entertainment shows now.  She's had her fifteen minutes.

Adam is a full-on rock star.....do we need to pull out a list of the greats to compare?

Please do not compare this poser to some of my all time favorites. It will be an insult to them.

Compare him all you want meatloaf.

Don't diss on Meatloaf. Bat out of hell was a great album.

My daughter got upset when Adam won. After I saw him singing with Kiss, I thought he was a bit over the top. Besides the other guy looks like Freddie Prince Jr.
I figured he'd win the over 20 crowd.

Oh I am dissing Meatloaf. I dislike his music with a passion. I can not reach the radio fast enough whe

(this is next line is not meatloaf related)

I do not like musician who need a gimmick or costume. I never liked hair metal because it was all posing. Never liked KISS, Elton John, David Bowie, T Rex etc (Glam rock). If you can sing and write good music just come out and perform that music. The Stones, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, U2 etc. The music will speak for itself. Adam totally fits the Glam Rock catagory. He is all about image and makeup and ugly outfits (what was he wearing on his last bit on Wednesday???) It is part of that over the top singing style he has that I have no interest in. I would much rather listen to a guy with his guitar playing and singing and good simple song. That is talent and music to me.
