Sledgefest, just doesn't sound right....eww
Only because I said it

But Octoberfest is fine?
The term Fest can mean:
Fest is a type of festival.
Fest is an Edinburgh Festival review magazine
Fest is a fictional planet within the Star Wars galaxy.
Fest is also the Danish/German/Norwegian/Swedish word for party.
I like sledgefest. Milwaukee has the worlds largest music festival called Summerfest. We just call it the Fest around here. So anything with Fest in it is superb to me.
A wonderful mentor once told me we can't account for people's taste.
where as when you use con it has many interpretations including;
an argument opposed to a proposal
victimize: deprive of by deceit; "He swindled me out of my inheritance"; "She defrauded the customers who trusted her"; "the cashier gypped me when he gave me too little change"
convict: a person serving a sentence in a jail or prison
memorize: commit to memory; learn by heart; "Have you memorized your lines for the play yet?"
in opposition to a proposition, opinion, etc.; "much was written pro and con"
bunco: a swindle in which you cheat at gambling or persuade a person to buy worthless property

I believe it can also be an abreviation for conference - ergo ComicCon instead of Conference.
No matter what it is is called it will be a celebration of the ending of the show that has brought us together on this Forum. With hopes that it will bring us all together, in person, finally to celebrate the characters we loved to hate, hated to loose, hated to love and for some just drooled over!
So call it what you will but in the end SWLS Live in Chicago will be an event we will all enjoy!
