I again think that it is necessary for Juliet to redeem herself since she is kinda a sideshow Bob type character who will be killed off.  When did she pony up about the Looking Glass, was it after Sayid expressed his intent to go to the radio tower?

If it was, then Juliet was holding out until she was forced to disclose information.  So, there is still some other in her (and not Goodwin).  But, that admission was a biggy.  It further means that she believes Naomi is telling the truth.  That would imply that there haven't been incursions by the former Dharma people within the timespan that Juliet has been on the island....or she hasn't heard about them.

Another question that I had was did the others always jam transmissions from the island....even before the losties got there.....and if so, why?  Rousseau didn't have access to a radio.  So, can this mean that there is another group on the island who does?

I don't trust her at all. Great character? YES. Loyal? Heck naw! She is self-serving, and if that means lying, so be it. She's switched sides more than Italy in the world wars!

She is self-serving in the sense she NEEDS to get off the Rock.  Now that she has come clean with the losties there is no need for her to lie.  They all are self-serving in the same way except for Rose, Bernard and Locke (oh and Walt).

Doesn't seem like everyone else has lied in quite the same way she has though (unless you count Ben of course).

What choice did she have?  You work for someone like Ben, he essentially kidnaps you, you watch him kidnap others, murder, manipulate, you name it!  Dr. Evil.  She knows how powerful he is after 3 years and how he can monitor everyone.  You wouldn't be telling the first person you meet either for fear of your life.  She was honest with Jack when she showed him the flash cards and hasn't stopped.  He was her first real hope.  IMHO  ;)

If you go just by the episode titles, she can be trusted.  Ben turned out to be "One of Them" and Juliet is now "One of Us."  So really she can be trusted about as much as any of the other Losties.

The thing about knowing something that nobody else does is that it allows you to manipulate.  If we assume that Juliet is not lying, then we know that she thinks that the others--or Ben--can be unsurped.  Who else amongst the others is on her side?  There's a bigger story coming.

The Powers That Be

There is a section with all the abbreviations written out.  I had to refer to it when I first joined too!

Thank you!  Thank you!  For answering that!
