Sayid isn't getting much screen time this season and I wonder if he will be one of the[spoiler]ones to die between  now and during season finale[/spoiler] but in his short scene with naomi and listening to her wellrehearsed speechabout Flight 815 and looking for Des, he knew immediately she was an Other. When he asked if they saw the helicopter, he knew she was a plant.  And her comment back mind me to never have to rescue you. 


Sayid smartest one on that island. Glad someone on the show sees through Naomi.I said after last week's episode, not tot trust her. Look at he screencaps on investigations page, Juliet and Ben are watching all the news footage with Patchy on the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, plus they have endless resources to get information on people,so know all about Des and and Penny.Not saying that Widomre is not involved , but Naomi is one of the Others and Sayid sees through it all.

I agree, she isn't telling the truth, Sayid always seems to know when people are lying. Plus, maybe its just me, but why would a helicopter pilot need the air mask helmet she was wearing( they fly to low to need oxygen) and how many helo pilots can fly with a parashut on, plus wouldn't the guys have herd the chopper before it crashed? Just some questions that come to mind.
When they were watching the screen caps didn't Ben say something to patchy about getting all the info? Of course they would need to get started right away on the cover up.

I don't think he thinks she's an other or thinks she's a plant.  He was simply interrogating her and asking the right questions.  I think when she produced the phone, it helped prove that she is NOT one of the others.  He better not die.  I'll be pissed.  Sayid and Sawyer are the only ones I want to see around until the end of the series.  I think Naomi will die, maybe a couple of others, and one or two of the 815ers.  I'm thinking it will either be Charlie, Sun, or Jin or someone really minor like Rose and Bernard.  Or maybe they'll do a Lord of the Flies and Hurley will get crushed by a boulder.

I think you are dead wrong about this one.  She's working for Penny Widmore, and I say it for this reason:

Almost to the end of Season 3.  Two more seasons....max...to go.  If they are going to start tying in what's happening on the Island with what's going on with the Widmore's and Paik and all that, they need to start now.

[spoiler]Besides, in one of the podcasts the producers said that another character would be introduced, and she wouldn't be an Other, she wouldn't be in a flashback, and she wouldn't be Dharma.  That's Naomi for sure.[/spoiler]

I just think that as far as the story arc is concerned, it's the right time to establish a tie-in to happenings off the Island.  Naomi is that link.

I love Hurley but that would be funny.

No way they can kill off Sayid or Sawyer but I thik Sayid will be a casulity..jack I hope so, drives me crazy,changed too much since season one.   Sawyer I would have trouble watching if he was killed too.

No I think Naomi gave it to Sayid as a sign of trust to try and win him over.

I think Naomi is an independent.  Why?  Because if Penny really wants to find and rescue Desmond, she's got to do it indepent of her father, without his knowledge.  I think HE is part of the conspiracy, but Penny is not.  Naomi's appearance is a logical continuation of the Penny and Desmond story line.  The Portugeuse listening station detected the electromagnetic anomaly and got a GPS location, relayed that information to Penny Widmore, and she sent a team out..

Sheisn't a new one I think she has been with them all along. Widmore involved  no doubt about it.
