Good post, Tex.

I think Sawyer's story line is over. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up dying before the end of the season.

i agree jb.  as much as i love to see sawyer, and don't want to see him go, i'm afraid the end may be drawing near for him.

Like others have said here, there is no way they will kill Sawyer, he is vital to the show.  I agree with Astro's first post here.  Summed it up nicely.

sawyer may not have anymore past issues to deal with, but there are now island issues to deal with.  we don't stop being people once we resolve something from the past.  new issues always spring up.  and yeah, like Joy had said, and some others, he's too central to die now.  They'll get some other thing to spice him up.

I like a lot of you was very torn.  I wanted Cooper to die. I wasn't sure  I wanted Sawyer to do it, but it had to be done.  I wish Locke could of done his own confrontation.  His issues aren't really resolved.  I think and hope that Sawyer has a lot more to give.  He has to change. The taking of a life would have to effect him.  He always seemed ashamed that he had killed before; of course it was the wrong man.

It did affect him. He ended up puking as soon as he came out. Also
Spoiler
I hear that Sawyer will deal with the murder next episode.

It wouldn't surprise me if they get rid of him. He is a central character, but so is Charlie. So was Eko. Who knows? I don't really want him to die either (note different attitude than earlier) but what is his story now? Rebuild his life? That worked wonders for SHANNON and ANA-LUCIA.

I don't think we ever want to see our favorite characters leave, but then that is one of the reasons we keep watching.  We know it's a possibility.  Maybe Sawyer will become Jack's Life Coach.

LOL

Jack needs one, doesn't he :D

I think the main reason I watch is for all the questions and answers... I like not knowing what's going on. It's why I'm GLAD there are so many questions and that no one knows what's happening next, even if it is a little frustrating sometimes.
