Jin's Ghost Story
« on: April 19, 2007, 12:48:56 AM »
Does anybody speak Korean.....I've got to know what he said.  How did Hurley know that part of it was about a Bird?  Was Jin describing the famous Hurley bird?

Hurley know some words the same way Jin knows english, They spent 82 days together. It's bound to rub off a little.

Or it was just a silly moment in the show to make us laugh.

I was under the impression he was telling a Korean version of the urban legend about the man with a hook for a hand terrorizing people and his hook ends up stuck in the door of a car.  Because Jin mimics missing a hand at the end of the story, and it seems like the type of generic campfire story someone would tell.

I thought it was hilarious to see him with the flashlight under his face to add effect!  LOL  You couldn't understand a word he was saying and Hurley still managed to jump.  That was a great scene.  They should have had Sawyer there with them.

LOL! I dont care what Jin said it just had me rolling, Jin was like a little kid and having a good time with the boys! Its nice to see the guy finally loosen up! I liked to see more things like this, it was great to see the shot of jin with the flash light under his chin that image is etched in my mind forever! :D

I thought the ghost story thing was great. How nice to be reminded that we're all more alike than we realize

You know, last night's episode was getting back in rhythm....nice dialogue between the losties, personal issues explored, flashback with a few eater eggs and a little twist....the only problem is that nothing was answered.  I'm not bitching, but whichever writers put this one together should continue with the storyline.  As long as there are not more questions raised and the show is entertaining, I'm all patience.

I hope that someone does translate this and that it's content later form the basis of something that happens on the island....That would be brilliant!

I believe becuase there was alot of tension within the audience, it was just a light-hearted scene to show the characters human side.
