JACK VS SAWYER

Jack is typical. Saywer is typical. I'll explain. Jack was a rich boy. He went to college. He went to medical school. He was set up from the start to suceed, and that's what he's used to doing. Even with women. Wouldn't every girl want a #1 kinda guy? Saywer, on the other hand has had to always be second best. He didn't have mommy and daddy pushing him through school, pounding into his head that education leads to money and money to power. Instead, Saywer had to either work or con to make money. He chose to con, but hey who wouldn't if if you have a knack for it? Or maybe he was pushed to be a con man by his surroundings growing up. Anyway Jack is a baby, he thinks that he's suppose to get first dibs on the ladies. In high school, didn't the guys that were rich always get the girls? Jack is a Jock, and Saywer is a Hoodlum. He always got the girls that were loose and smoked the stuff that Locke's growing on Old Macdonald's farm.

Jack may of come to realize that Sawyer and kate deserve each other, He has another doctor to chum up to. And he knows kate isn't going to be anything even if she survies the island. Of course being a man if kate raped him as she did Sawyer he probably would turn her down. Like Sawyer said "You don't have to use me, just ask"

Jack versus Sawyer is for the Grey Anatomists out there.  The real issue is Jack versus Locke.

It's no competition - Jack is fairly weak and Sawyer is rock hard (no pun).

Who cares if Kate is using him - and if all she has to so is ask....does that go far any girl, cos I wouldn't mind.

Back to the show - Jack is pally with Juliette because he thinks she is intelligent and on his wavelength but he's being duped and when he finds out he'll go all moody again. He was plain rude to Kate when he spoke to her in the 'kitchen' and he reminds of several fair weather friedns I knew back in school. He's acting like a child - lets guess who's shoulder he'll want to cry on when he finds out about Juliette.

I don't mind the love triangle stuff but then again I could certainly live without it!

I say yes just because I don't see her being a very permanent character.

Yeah that's my guess too. She's probably only on a one season contract. But who knows?...

HAHAHA, A big part of this Jack VERSUS Sawyer to me is not so much just what they are doing with Kate, it also has a lot to do with their power on the island, as people are seeming to turn against Jack, Sawyer is growing in power, and it seems that people may end up following him instead of Jack.

I like that aspect too; I just don't care for the sexual aspects of relationships.  Hence I don't like the Jack-Kate-Sawyer triangle.  No big deal except I'm getting tired of this being at the forefront this season. 

Yeah, I keep waiting for Kate to show up pregnant too. 

Why do so many people think that when she only had sex twice now?  No doubt the Others intended for her and Sawyer to do that, but that doesn't mean they were successful. 

Whatever.  That's not really something I'm looking forward to if she really did get pregnant.  At this rate, the Island will become its own country.

I don't think everyone having sex gets pregnant the first time around...but she could be preggers first time out!! And with all the baby-delivery crap being shown, I wouldn't doubt she is pregnant.

I guess so.   Or the writers could be throwing a red herring. 

Given what Juilet said about the Island increasing a man's sperm, Sawyer may have had more opportunity than someone off the island at least.  That is if Kate was at the right part of her cycle.

Again this is one aspect of the story I am not looking forward to no matter where it leads.  Sun's pregnancy is enough for now.
