what was the blue streak of light on Hurleys Head in the scene where Desmond saves Charlie from the arrow. It was just before Charlie stepped on the booby trap.

I was hoping you could get some screen shots of the parachuter. In desmond's visions and when it actually happened.
In the visions I think the visor on the helmet was cracked and the jumpsuit was tan.
then when the events really happened the jumpsuit was black and there was no crack on the visor.

Im going to say that it's the book "LOST & FOUND" and im also going to say that its prob. a verson of the book thats long out of print. the book looks a little dated..also in further detecting...going on the theme of the episode it seems to be a good match...I shall look at somethings in half.com and a few other bookweb sites.....
{EDIT} alright maybe not "LOST & FOUND" i've been looking and all i come up with is adoption and how to deal with death as a child. ponder....another LOST mystery

Looks like there's a Painting in the background with Frosty the Snowman. Reference to the "What did one snow man say to the other snowman" line that Desmond got from Kelvin Inmen?
Odd to have a painting of frosty the snowman in somebody's house.

The first word of the title of the book looks like HSP which stands for heat shock protiens, which is being studied in cancer research. Or maybe it is HST...HyperSpace Travel or Hubble Space Telescope. Or maybe it's "LIST"...GAH!!! My eyes just exploded!

Hello all and greetings from Sweden.
In the beginning of this episode when we get to see Desmonds visions, there is a really quick shot of Penny (0:02:49).
Is Penny on the island? I thought that maybe that quick shot would tell, if there was any signs of the island itself in the background. However, to my surprise, by looking at the pic we can see what clearly looks like a toilet. Does anyone recognize it? Maybe Penny is to be found somewhere indoors? Take a look at the attachment and tell me what you think! :-)
