The pic of her crawling is it!  Aren't those pines in the background?  I don't think that there are any in HI but those definitely look like pines to me!!

Pines do appear on tropical Islands. We see them in episode one when jack is in the jungle. salt water pines aren't as lush as fresh water but they grow. ex. Big Pine Key FLA.
