I think Jack can still be trusted.  As far as I'm concerned, his biggest problem to date has been Kate.  Like him, she's got a lot of baggage she's hauling around.  Those two don't need to be anywhere near each other right now.

I actually think Jack is better off with Juliet.

I'm hoping that Jack is conning Juliet into trusting him...we do see Sayid questioning her...if Jack trusted her why would he let Sayid do this...he knows what sayid does in his "questioning sessons"

I like the idea of Jack conning Juliet.  Maybe he is just allowing Sayid to interrogate her to prove that she is on their side?  I'm sure Jack wants to know what Juliet knows just as much as anyone else on the beach.

I don't think Jack knows about Sayid's conversation with Juliet yet.  I think it's one of those "we can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way" conversations between the two of them.  Sayid is just warning her that he doesn't trust her and things could get ugly if she's not completely honest.  I don't think Jack is aware of it yet.
