I've had a look and I don't think this has been brought up as yet...? (please feel free to merge if so).

The title says it all really - did she see the others leave the camp, did they see her?

Its just been bugging me so I'd love to hear your theories...

You'd have to ask Where's Alex?  Probably with Ben which would make me think Rousseau's following them.

Rousseau has lived on the island for 16 years.
She has he ways. She won't be caught.
She is following Alex. She is working up the courage to approach her.
If I know Alex, she will go looking for Carl and her mother.
Maybe Rousseau finds Carl and they work as a team? (Just wishful thinking)

Yea, I asked that same question myself. And it got me thinking....

When Ben wanted to be captured, who was it that conveniently caught him?

When Ben wanted the sub destroyed, who conveniently lead Locke to some C4?

Rousseau knows more than she is saying.

I don't think Rousseau lead them to the hatch and the C4, though. And if Ben was going to get someone to manipulate Locke and guarantee Locke would get some C4, he would have asked the Russian guy and/or Bea.

Certainly. But the Cobra? I thought the Cobra should be someone who has been showing genuine interest and support of getting the "bad guys", just like in Expose.

I agree with razzle-dazzle.  Danielle is trailing Alex.  When she returns, she will be the one that leads the Losties to where the Others have gone.

This episode made me believe that Locke and Rousseau are planning something.  Mostly because of Locke's reaction when Kate asks him about her.  It was like he knew but didn't want to say.

wow, that would really be amazing! I personally think Locke is planning something and is NOT on the Others' side at all, he just plays along. Don't think Rousseau's cooperating with him though.

I don't think that Kate mentioning Rousseau was smart on her part. Rousseau has been hanging around (She was there when Locke left Alex) and she might still be within a few miles or less of the Barracks.

Did the Others capture her? If so, I think it was entirely Kate's fault. She shouldn't have mentioned Rousseau at all.

Yeah, he and Russeau are definitely in on something.  But what?  Are they going to try to trap the others?  Will they leave them on the Hydro with no way back?  It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

I'd go out on a limb and say Rousseau and Locke have nothing in common... I think she has her own agenda to see her daughter... could care less about locke, kate, or sayid..
