How is it that Juliette can knock out Jack in one punch, yet it seems like Kate is overtaking her?

That "catfight" is gonna last a whole 15 seconds when the episode airs, just watch lol. It will probably lead to some kind of understanding and truce, as well as an allegiance between the two. Kate will have only started the fight out of extreme guilt, which will lead her to deciding to give herself and her heart over to Jack once and for all...which will lead to Sawyer being even MORE heartbroken, his self-esteem and self-worth damaged even further than it was at the time of the plane crash.

Damn that Kate, evil temptress!

With Jack living with the others it doesn't need to be a triangle any more.  Assuming they let Kate go, she can just travel between the two, both being none the wiser about the other.  Ahhh, that would be the life.  The only crappy thing would be the traveling between their camp and Otherville.  She can have her cake and eat it, too.  Mmmmmm.  Sawyer cake and Jack cake.

I've been watching some Season 2 on DVD lately, and it brings into stark contrast the lack of continuous story lines in Season 3.  When I saw Locke's dad at the end of "Man From Tallahasee" (incidentally, I saw that actor in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager last night), I was pissed to learn (from the podcast) that they would not be addressing that issue for a long while.  There's too much jumping around now; it's almost as if the producers are trying to divert focus away from the actual plot and turn it into more of a "These are the Lives of [so-and-so]" for now.  I don't know if I like it.  Maybe it will have a better flow when it comes out on DVD, but having to wait a week in between episodes that skip around like this is excruciating.

And I agree with Sayid (actor) that they need to forget about the Nikkis and Paulos of the Lost world and show us some more Locke/Jack/Sawyer/The core group of Losties.

I agree, I think the show has lost its bearings a bit....I'm losing faith in these moves being purposeful. The flow of the storylines is jagged as well: we'll go seven weeks without really progressing forward in learning or getting more answers about past issues, then in one week we'll be given direct answers to a bunch of issues in about 15 minutes from a talkative "Other" or survivor. Seems forced.

I'm definitely handling this season different from last season for just that reason.  To me there's not as much use trying to figure out what's going to happen next based on the last show, because they are so disjointed.  Whatever information you got on a certain topic....say, Locke's dad...is going to be all you have for a few weeks.  So, there's not much use in over-analyzing it, because you will quickly go as far as you can go and will have to table it for a while before they give you any new info.  I'm watching it much more like a "normal" TV show and much less like a "figure out the mystery" show.

Ya, the producers had this great story to tell and they gave you this great appetizer, allowed you a glimpse of the main course, and now they keep feeding you salad.

They have tried to present a 1000 page book with the action, the meat, separated by chapters of fluff.  I know what happens when I am reading a book like that, I put it down or skip to the last chapter.

It is simply inconceivable to me that they would present Locke's Daddy and not follow up with some answers for a month.  However, we are now their hostages and one can only speculate (I like speculating).

By the way, did anyone watch the new previews.....if you don't want to get spoiled don't continue reading.

Sawyer may be getting a message long overdue.....blah blah blah.  Catfight between two freed females.....blah blah blah.  No answers.
