I am one to think that Vincent is Smokey. Or what we know as Vincent is really Smokey.
This episode it shows Vincent pulling the blanket off of Nikki and Paulo. I think this was Smokey saying "hey there not dead."

I thought it was just a dog being a dog -- he might have smelled that they were still alive or known it just because dogs have better senses of smell, etc., than we do.

I'm with you too, Jug. I think Vincent is just being a dog. He is a very intuitive dog, though!! He must be specially trained. Maybe Brian got him from a place that trains dogs for special needs families and that is why he is so good at picking up on things.

Naw I don't buy that vincent is smoky. I just think that he knows things. He found the Van for Hugo and a few other things that have helped the losties out. They should make an epi where we can hear what he is thinking!...lol then we will really know!
