why did locke choose salisbury steak?  that must be important.  also, he eats his peas one at a time.  something not right with that one.

but, i digress.  this thread was focused upon ben's choice of eating all the dark meat.  still a strange comment coming from a strange man.

if ben ate all the dark meat it means that he was eating alone.  this, in addition to the absence of girls clothing scattered about the little bungalo means that alex lives elsewhere.  pretty strange if you're trying to keep an eye on a hormonal little sixteen year old to let her have her own pad.

the chicken thus indicates that alex may have a mom, and that's where she mainly stays, and ben just gets her two nights a week like the custody papers dictated in the divorce....or, ben's ex-wife isn't in this picture because she hated ben and is hanging out with some other clan of others and ben is holding alex as a pawn in this fight.

so, you see, the chicken answers some key questions....ben lives alone, ben's ex-wife is a b...., and there is another clan of others out there.
right, we all knew that aleady...without the chicken question

it's all ball bearings crazy stuff....

here is the logic sequence:

ben ate all the dark meat>the white meat is left>ben ate alone/no girly things around>alex horny 16 year old>ben not keeping a close eye on daughter>alex lives somewhere else>alex lives with mom after the messy divorce or alex got her own place by playing one parent against another.

it's all chicken watson.

clucking A.

liked the fowl comment.

SOme people eat only dark meat, I only eat white meat.

Girls stuff could be in girls bedroom. Because they keep a clean house does not mean that Alex lives some wheres else.

Logic is lacking here.

As long as the thread is active it stays open.

oh ye of little faith, that conversation between ben and locke is the key to the entire season.  why did Locke suddenly ask for food in the first place.....as if he were visiting a friend and watching a sunday football game, not getting ready to blow a sub.

why had locke never before appreciated chicken?

1: Someone needs to cut back on the puffing.

2: Ben seems like the kind of dad that would tell you to keep all you stuff in your room.

3: Alex said her mom was dead.

4. Locke hasn't had cooked chicken for how long 70, 80 days (something like that now isn't it) it would be the best tasting thing in the world

If you've ever climbed a mountain you'd understand, water is the best the thing in the world when thats all you've got and you're thirstier than you've ever been, and a coffee when you finally get home is like sipping a little piece of Heavan
