Maybe I'm missing something or just not connecting something here.  If anyone could clear this up for me that would be great.

Kate:  What did they do to you Jack?

Jack:  I made a deal with them.  They're gonna let me go.

Kate:  Where?

Jack:  Home.

Kate:  When?

Jack:  First thing in the morning.  I can bring back help.  It's our best chance.

Kate:  You trust these people?  They are liers.  Why would you believe a word...

Jack:  I trust them because you told me to Kate.  When you asked me to save Sawyer's life.

Kate:  Jack, what did they tell you?

[Door opens and Juliet breaks up the party.]

What is that line (bold) referring to?

Kate told Jack to operate on Ben. She is afraid that they will kill Sawyer if he doesn't, but will spare Sawyer's life if he does. Jack doesn't trust them, but Kate did.

I don't think Jack really means what he is saying. I think he is upset that Kate slept with Sawyer and is just throwing something back at her. He loves Kate, Jaters rejoice.

Oh all right.  Now that makes sense to me.  Thanks.  When I first heard it, nothing was connecting in my pea sized brain and I was "Huh?  What?  Sawyer is an Other?"

I think that too, he is trying to throw blame on Kate without actually saying what hurt him.
