Please help me ladies...and gents...
« on: March 04, 2007, 02:34:01 PM »
My bff is getting married and she tried on dresses yesterday.  She has it down to two and simply cannot decide.  Would you gals take a look and tell me which one you like best and why?  There are alternate views of the gown and you can zoom in to see the detail.  I would really, really appreciate your input and it would be a great help to her to here other opinions.

Men, feel free to add your input too, I just figured it was a girlie thing.  ;)

I like the second one.  Neither looks like my dress, so that's not a deciding factor.  I really am not fond of the cuffed bodice.  I also like the detail a little better on the second one. That said, they are similar enough that I think she'll be happy no matter which one she chooses.

Thanks HG.  She really likes the detail in that dress as well.  And she looks like the model too, so you can see the problem  :D

LB, yeah, we went to a couple of other places as well, but she really liked these two.

Second one. (T8280)

I like the look of the scalloped bodice and not the cuffed bodice. I like how it is laced over also. I guess it makes it look "softer" than the other. The first one looks "rigid" to me.

I think they are both pretty tho. I love looking at wedding dresses!

I wish I had a photo of the veil she likes...it has lots of detail and I think it's confusing with the second dress.  But that's just me.  You guys are really helping...keep giving me opinions.  :-*

I am not a girl but I vote for the second one. Looks less like a barbie dress. More elegant

Thanks Loueee, I have a feeling the boys will like the second one better...the first one isn't that puffy if you look at from the back view you can see the lay of the skirt...not that you want to do that  ::)
