Surprised the pro Vincent is smokey crowd has not been pushing the fact that vincent was always right there when Hurley was praying. Sitting against the tree, vincent was at his feet and he was beside the car before it was pushed over.

I still think vincent is just a dog

Well I think Vincent is "just" a dog as much Walt is "just" a kid.

Smokey turned into Locke. That gave him the power of being always right. Hence he is the good one, winner of game and everything else for now on.

I haven't been proved wrong too many times, I just have never been proved right.
The jury is still out on Vincent and will be until Locke gets answers straight from Smokie's mouth.

All this talk of Vincent being "Smokey" (where's the Bandit?): I just put Christian / Lemmy etc down to island-induced hallucinations.

I would love for Vincent to be significant. As at it stands, I see him as being influenced by the island, much as Locke is, though obviously with less rationalisation process (IE Locke interpreting it as "destiny")

Vincent is Jacob. The dog was just a figment of Walt and Michael's imagination in their flashbacks.

But everyone else sees him.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Vincent can't be smokie... or else he'd be a black lab...  Grin

Vincent is just a dog... it's got to be proven by his relationship w/ Shannon..

OK, based on our discussions of what Vincent could be, what's Nadia? Or is that another thread?
